Sarcofago
Como no referirse a esta gran banda que formó este engendro llamado Wagner Lamounier ex miembro de Sepultura por allá por el año 1985 en Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Sarcófago fue una de las bandas más extremas y blasfemas de su tiempo, rescatando la rapidez del thrash, la brutalidad del Death primigenio y la lírica, concepto e imagen del Black Metal.
Su primera formación fue Wagner "Antichrist" Lamounier: vocals, Gerald "Incubus" Minelli: bass, Eduardo "D.D. Crazy": Drums, Zéber "Butcher": Guitar quienes grabaron los demos Satanic Lust (1986), The Black Vomit (1986) y Christ's Death (1987).
Su primer Lp INRI (1987) muestra brutalidad, velocidad y odio al máximo, los temas que destacan son Satanic Lust, Satanas, Recrucified (la caga viejo!!!).
ROTTING (1989) su segundo Lp continúa con la pesadez y agresividad característica, 6 temas que te destruyen tus neuronas alcoholizadas, destacan el grito de guerra Sex, Drinks and Metal, Alcoholic Coma y la clásica y lenta Nightmare.
THE LAWS OF SCOURGE (1991)su tercer lp no tan conocido como los 2 primeros pero no por eso menos crudo, sobresalen los temas Piercings y el clásico The black vomit.
HATE claramente más técnico, se aprecia en la percusión, que los anteriores, aún así conserva el sonido que identifica a Sarcófago. Destacan Hate, Orgy of Flies y la demoledora Rhabdovirus.
En el 2002 sale a luz Tribute to Sarcofago, en el cual participan bandas reconocidas como Satyricon, Impaled Nazarene, Angel Corpse y Exhumed versionando temas de Sarcófago, los cuales son excelentes!!!
Bueno, nada más agregar que Sarcófago mantuvo a través de los años de existencia su estilo característico y se transformó en una banda de culto a nivel mundial.
